Activities I did in October
This October I haven't been to the gym since I started to workout at home. But I'm planing on consistently going in November. This month I put emphasis on doing more cardio, which was bike rides. Occasionally, I put in some strenght training. In strenght training I focused on upper and lower body, used smaller weights, and did it about three times a week. Now I do realise that I missed the gym and that particular environment, so I'm really excided to get back.
Usually cordio contained bike rides. Mostly on Mondays or Tuesdays and Saturdays. The rides were about 25km and lasted for an hour. The bike rides help to maintain your endurance and over all increase your cardio vascular health. Since I have a low heart rate, cardio is essential for my daily life.
Strenght training was done mostly on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. On Wednesdays I did upper body with the program called "Heavy", it contains some of my favorite workout programs. Thusdays were always leg days, which, not going to lie, were the hardest days. Furthermore, on Sundays it was either a mixture between upper and lower body or only lower or upper body sessions. I focused on training arm because I want to be able to do push ups. And my progress for now are only three clean push ups.
As for running, I didn't really had any running sessions. The weather is getting colder that makes running not that enjoyable. Since now I'm going to go back to the gym, running will have to wait. Still I am looking forward to do more runs in Spring.
In conclusion, I didn't get stronger in one month but by the end of this school year I believe I will grow as a person. This really tests my discipline and determinations.
