Self-investigation


 Every single person in the world is different. I am no exeption and also have my likes and dislikes, things I love and things I don't love. This shapes me in the individe I am today. Things that I enjoy and don't, developed through the years. As self-investigation am going to present my ups and downs, also going to provide some self critisim and what are my plans for CAS activities.

Likes and dislikes

As a very active person I enjoy working out, specifically, running and doing strenght training. Now as the weather is getting colder, I do more bike rides at home, because I have a exercise bike. Furthermore, I like searching up nutrition facts, that can help people develope better eating habits and improves their overall health. I try to live a healthy lifestyle by eating good food and doing physical activities. Second thing I enjoy is reading. I love books. If you could go to my room, you would see shelves and shelves of books. My favorite genre is modern literature. Third thing I enjoy is creating graphic designs. I was always fond of fashion and clothes, which led me to making a collection of scraps from magazines. Making scrap pages and designing them to various themes. 

I am not a really big fan of arts. Don't get my wrong, I love listening to music and I just can't live without it. A few years back I finished music school and, let me say, it wasn't a pleasant experience. So from that moment I don't want to play any instrument. Altough sometimes I pick up my guitar and still play. Another thing I don't enjoy doing is gardening, woking outside. Sure I help my mom when shes planting flowers, but keeping the garden tidy is not my favourite activity. 

Things I am good at and not that good at


Come to think of it, I am really good at learning. Well I like learning new things that provide knowledgeabout different things. My favourite subjects are Math, Physics and Biology. Plus I have an excellent memory, so it is easy for me to memorise information and apply it. I am also great at writing. Well maybe I need some practice writing in English, but in Lithuanian I have been creating texts for a very long time, therefore, it comes easy to me. Furthermore, I am good at cooking. I am the one in my family who enjoys eating nutrient danced food, so I had to learn how to make it. Times to times I would bake and try different recipes. 

I am not really good at specific types of running, like interval running. For example, you are going for a run and for few intervals you do a speed run, which is your fastest paste. Another thing I am not good at is saving money. I believe everybody has the same problem. But I am working to reverse this situation and start saving up. 

Plans for CAS activities (what things do I want to try)

This year for my Activity part of the assesment I decided to take on running and cycling. Well specifically interval runs and longer runs, plus some additional cycling sessions for training indurance.  Also consistently going to the gym and increasing my strenght. I want to be able to do at least 20 push-ups and, if possible, a pull up.  For my Creativity part I would like to create book presentation and post them on 'Instagram' as I already have a so called 'bookstagram' account. Maybe writing short stories and posting them on a different blog account. Form my Service: me and other scholar are organizing the celebration for 12th graders. Another thing me and my classmates decided to organize is a book club, where we could choose a book for a month and later on discuss it in meetings. This would improve our social and public speaking skills. 

Thank you for reading. I have some more ideas about what I can do for my CAS activities this year. Here I only presented the main ones. I am looking forward to growing as a person through challenging myself.
