Presenting myself

 Who am I?

My name is Elinga Juozaitytė. At the moment, I'm 17 years old and I live in a small town in west Lithuania called Tauragė. I'm the youngest child of three. Unfortunately, I don't own any pets. My mom is a biology teacher and a fitness instructor, my dad is a driver, who mostly works abroad. I live in a house, which has it's own garden. So I have spent a lot of time near nature and through the years grew fond of it. Still my gardening skills aren't the best, but sometimes I have to help my mom with taking care of plants. 

Science based subjects

 If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be curious. Curious about everything: what contains my personality, what would I be when I grow up, why things work the way they work?  I enjoy understanding difficult things, explaining something interesting and obviously knowing the answer.  For this reason, I see school as a form of a challenge, that I need to overcome. The subjects that I enjoy the most are mathematics, physics, biology and literature. As you can see I am more of a science based student. What I like about science based subjects are that they require critical and logical thinking and not only theory. The only thing I have chosen as social studies is history.  

Sports and healthy lifestyles

One of my favorite hobbies are running and collecting knowledge about healthy lifestyles and nutrition. Running is one of the best things I have experienced in my life. Okay, at first it wasn't easy, but through the months I have built some endurance, which helped my a lot. I also like to research some information about health and longevity. It contains nutrition, exercise, healthy habits, sleep and more. This fall I plan to run in my first, so called, race, which will take part in Kaunas. I'm scared but thoroughly excited. Further more, this fall I have started going to athletics, which will be one of my CAS activities.

Reading and books

My second pack of hobbies would be reading and buying books. In my family, on my dad side, everybody is obsessed with books. My sister would read any kind of genre and I, for instance, would choose romance, classic literature, psychology. But my most favorite genre is modern literature. It just has my heart. Another thing about me is that I love collecting books. When there is and occasion I always opt to get a new book. I enjoy reading because it transport you into a different world, tells you a new story and also makes your vocabulary bigger, which is important for writing essays.  

Conclusion

All in all, there was my little sneak peak to what kind of person I am. Obviously, there is much more, but I wanted to present the main things. Thank you for reading, and I hope it was entertaining to you.
